Sgt. Sean Drenth of the Phoenix, Arizona Police Department was shot to death with his own shot gun, after a struggle with an unknown assailant, on October 18, 2010.
Tragedy continued for my family in Blue, when Officer Tommy Portz, of the Baltimore, Maryland Police Department was killed in a traffic crash on Wednesday. He was responding to a medical emergency call, when he rear ended a fire truck stopped on a freeway.
Please, as you pray tonight remember both of these men and what they gave for you - like Jesus Christ, these men died so you would not have to. They laid their lives on the lines and gave the ultimate sacrifice.
